I think we have heard the theory about always making sure that we have enough memory for our computers and our servers. I have been recommending it for years however I was more than surprised at the actual difference it made on my server running Hyper-V. The impact of RAM on VM’s is far more significant. So if you are running VM’s, make sure you have more than enough RAM. Below is a snapshot of my VM setup as well as a snapshot or the resource monitor after the upgrade.
